The Mission of the Colorado House is:

To provide a safe, stable, supportive home environment for homeless families and individuals who are motivated to work towards self sufficiency; as well as to offer solid links to essential resources, and to serve as a gathering place for other community service organizations.

Our primary objective is to present the highest level of comprehensive self-sufficiency training and resources that are available; and to provide consistent, quality transitional housing in an environment conducive to success, growth, and prosperity

Colorado House and Resource Center is in need of many donation items such as food, personal hygiene items and other household essentials to assist our residents in their goal of self-sufficiency.

Moving or Getting new furniture?

Colorado House is looking for dressers, small entertainment centers, single beds (frames, box springs & mattresses).

Colorado House and Resource Center is one of the few Enterprise Zone activities in Colorado Springs, and that has significant meaning to you, our supporters. Any cash donation to Colorado House and Resource Center of $500 or more provides the donor with a Colorado State tax credit of 25% of the amount of the contribution. This is not a “tax deduction” – it is an actual credit, which allows the donor to reduce Colorado State tax due by $125 in return for the minimum $500 contribution. (Donors of in-kind contributions valued at $500 or more receive a 12.5% Colorado State tax credit).
